Microsoft announces Surface Laptop 4





Microsoft has officially announced the new member on its Surface PCs lineup, the Surface Laptop 4.



This new laptop comes with the same design as the Surface Laptop 3 that the company released on October 2, 2019, with a few ports as usual as it only comes with one USB-A port, one USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the company's Surface Connect port Microsoft to charge the device, and without any port to connect an external display.





As for the internal specifications, the Surface Laptop 4 comes in two versions, the first with a 13.5-inch screen and the second with a 15-inch larger screen, both of which offer a choice between 11th-generation Intel i5 and i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, or a customized AMD Ryzen Microsoft Surface® Edition processor with Radeon Graphics, and 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR4x of RAM, and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB SSD storage.

The device is also equipped with a 720p HD front camera that supports Windows Hello sign-ins through facial recognition, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Dolby Atmos Omnisonic speakers, and dual-field remote microphones.



The Surface Laptop 4 13.5" edition comes with a PixelSense touch screen with 2256 x 1504 resolution, 201 PPI density, 3:2 Aspect ratio, 10 point multi-touch, and Surface Pen support, and three processor options to choose from: an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, a Quad-core Core i7-1185G7 that give you up to 17.5 hours of battery life (for typical device usage), or an AMD Ryzen 5 4680U Hexa-core processor with Microsoft Surface Edition Radeon Graphics with up to 19 hours of battery life.

It's made from aluminum and available in four colors: Sandstone and Matte Black with a premium metal feel, and Platinum and Ice Blue colors with an Alcantara fabric finish, starting at $1000.


                                


As for the 15-inch version, it comes with a PixelSense touch screen with a resolution of 2496 x 1664, a density of 201 PPI, the aspect ratio of 3: 2, 10 points multi-touch, and support for the Surface pen as well, with the Quad-Core 11th Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with Up to 16.5 hours of battery life (for typical device usage), or the AMD Ryzen 7 4980U Octa-Core Processor that gives you up to 17.5 hours of battery life.

Surface Laptop 4 15" is also made from aluminum and available in two colors: Platinum and Matte Black with a premium metal feel, starting at $1300.
