During the Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC) event that is currently being held in Barcelona, Xiaomi announced a new smartphone under its Poco brand, a high-end mid-range phone called Poco X4 Pro 5G.
POCO X4 Pro 5G has a 2.5D glass body design to provide a premium feel in hand with a flat-edged design, as is the case with the Redmi Note 11 series, and a wide rectangle at the back that extends from edge to edge and houses the triple rear cameras system.
This phone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 395 ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer.
Poco X4 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with a frequency of up to 2.2 Hz, up to 8 GB LPDDRX4 RAM, and up to 256 GB with UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable by an external memory card up to 1 terabyte.
In terms of cameras, the phone has a triple rear camera system consisting of a 108MP wide-angle primary camera with a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 main sensor and f/1.9 lens slot that supports autofocus, and a second 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 118-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel camera for macro photography, with an f/2.4 aperture.
Poco X4 Pro 5G has also a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the form of a hole in the top center of the phone screen, with an f/2.4 lens slot. Both the front and rear cameras can record video up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
As for the battery, the Poco X4 Pro has a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, and it can be charged with the charger included in the phone box from 0 to 100 percent in just 41 minutes, according to Xiaomi.
The phone also is IP53 dust and water-resistant and has stereo speakers, IR blaster, 3.5 mm jack port, USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer, and a side-mounted fingerprint.
POCO X4 Pro supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 5 and comes with MIUI 13 for POCO based on Android 11, in three colors, Laser Black, Laser Blue, and POCO yellow, at the following prices:
