On October 5, 2021, Microsoft announced Windows 11, the successor to Windows 10, which came with a set of features and aesthetic UI changes. On the other hand, it lacked a set of features that were in its predecessor, including the ability to customize the Start menu and taskbar.
The taskbar and the Start menu in Windows 11 come with very limited customization options, as you can do almost nothing else in the Start menu other than pin or unpin applications on it, while the taskbar does not have any customization option when right-clicking on it at all. And if the various settings that Windows 10 offered can be accessed by right-clicking on its taskbar from Windows 11 settings, the latter does not contain any useful settings for the Start menu
