Google announces I/O 2021 event

Google officially announced the return of its annual developer conference for this year known as Google I/O 2021, after the company canceled it last year due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic in the world.

This event will be organized virtually this year online, and free for everyone from May 18 to 20th, and the company has already launched the registration process for this event through the following website for those wishing to join Workshops, Ask Me Anything Sessions (AMAs), live Q&A during Sessions, chat in I/O Adventure, and more.

It is expected that Google will, during this year's developer event, unveil the new version of its operating system for smartphones and tablets, Android 12, in addition to some new features coming to its applications such as Google Assistant, as well as the Pixel 5a phone and other smart devices.

Google will announce a full and detailed schedule for the I/O 21 event later this month, and it will consist of the Consumer and Developer Keynotes that will focus on company and product news, as well as instructor-led workshops with encouraging questions and answers, Ask Me Anything Sessions (AMAs) that are an opportunity to ask Google product experts questions.

Technical sessions will also be scheduled throughout the three-day event and will focus on product announcements and how to adopt new features, Interactive Sandboxes will also be provided at I/O Adventure allowing developers to try Google’s new products and features through a hands-on experience, while Codelabs and Learning Pathways sessions are self-driving learning experiences that always work and help you embrace Google technology.
