Nokia announces six new Android smartphones


 HMD Global, The holder of the trademark rights of Nokia, has announced the launch of six new budgets and mid-range smartphones from its new naming scheme, the C, G, and X Series.


Nokia C10 and C20:

Nokia has dedicated the C series to people who need an Android smartphone that can perform simple tasks such as messaging, making calls, browsing photos and video files at a low price, and this year is no exception, as Nokia introduces its two new phones, C10 and C20, with minimum specifications. The technology that allows the completion of basic daily tasks and the battery for a full day of use, with the Android 11 version of Go With guaranteed security updates every three months for two years, at a price starting from €79.

  •  Nokia C10:



The Nokia C10 phone comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, 400nits brightness protected by a Panda Glass layer, and runs with the Unisoc SC7331E quad-core processor with a frequency of up to 1.3 GHz, and a Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor, with 1 to 2 GB of RAM, and 16 to 32 GB of internal memory extendable with an external memory card up to 256 GB.

And concerning the cameras, the phone comes with one rear camera in addition to a front selfie camera in the form of a water drop, capable of recording 720p videos, both are 5-megapixel cameras with an F/2.2 aperture and LED flash (in the front and back).

Nokia C10 phone only supports 3G networks, and it comes with a 3000 mAh removable battery that charges via the old micro-USB charging port, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and it is available in Light Purple and Gray colors starting at €79.

  • Nokia C20:


The Nokia C20 phone offers slightly better specifications than its predecessor, it comes with the Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor with a frequency of up to 1.6 GHz and the Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor, with 1 to 2 GB of RAM and 16 to 32 of the internal memory can also be extended using an external memory card.

Other than that, this phone comes with the same screen, battery, and camera as the Nokia C10 smartphone, as well as support for FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 5, micro-USB charging port, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Nokia C20 is available in Sand and Dark Blue colors starting at €89.

Nokia G10 and G20:

Nokia has a phone for everyone, regardless of their budget, so if the two previous phones do not have the technical specifications you need, and you want a phone with a system similar to the stock Android version with three years of security updates and major Android updates for two years without paying much, Nokia has a solution for you. It is the new G series which includes the new G10 and G20 smartphones.

  • Nokia G10:


The Nokia G10 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution and a density of 269 pixels per inch, a MediaTek G25 octa-core processor with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor, with 3 to 4 GB of RAM and 32 to 64 GB of internal memory, which can be extended with an external memory card up to 512 GB.


This phone has three cameras on the back that can shoot video at a resolution of up to 1080p: the first camera is a 13MP wide-angle lens that supports autofocus, the second is with a 2MP lens for depth that helps to blur the background while capturing a portrait, and the last is a 2MP macro camera for photographing close-up objects. As for the selfie camera, it comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle water drop camera that can shot videos at up to 1080p.


Nokia G10 supports 4G networks, and it comes with a 5050 mAh non-removable battery, side-mounted fingerprint, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, FM radio, 3.5 mm port, and Type C charging port. It is available in night and dusk colors at a price starting from €139.

  • Nokia G20:



The Nokia G20 phone offers a good mix suitable for budget phones, that combines powerful hardware with the pure and constantly updated Android system. It comes with a MediaTek G35 octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and a PowerVR GE8320 graphics processor, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage memory, expandable by an external memory card, up to 512 GB, and runs the latest Android version, Android 11 out-of-the-box.

This phone also comes with a quad-camera system capable of shooting videos up to 1080p resolution, consisting of a 48MP wide main camera with a 1.8 lens aperture that supports autofocus, in addition to a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera as well. As for the selfie camera, the phone comes with a wide 8-megapixel camera in the form of a water drop as well.



As for the rest of the other specifications, the Nokia G20 phone has the same screen and battery as the Nokia G10 phone, as well as the same other features such as Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, and the side-mounted fingerprint...

Nokia G20 is available in Glacier and Night colors, starting at €159.

Nokia X10 and X20:

The Nokia X10 has a quad-camera system with ZEISS Optics  that can shoot video at a resolution of up to 1080p, consisting of a 48MP wide-angle primary camera that supports autofocus, along with a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and two 2MP cameras: the first is a with a depth sensor to isolate the background when capturing Portraits, and the second is with a macro lens for photographing very close-up objects, while the selfie camera is a wide 8-megapixel lens in the form of punch hole at the top of the front screen; and offers 4 to 6 GB of RAM and 64 to 128 GB of internal storage configurations, expandable using an external memory card, up to 512 GB in two colors options Forest and Snow starting at €309.



  • Nokia X20:


The Nokia X20 has a better camera system than its predecessor as it has a 32-megapixel wide lens selfie camera and a 64-megapixel rear main camera that supports autofocus, while the rest of the other three rear cameras are similar to the Nokia X10 (a 5MP ultra-wide lens camera,2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor camera), available in two storage configurations: 6 GB RAM/128 GB and 8 GB RAM/128 GB of internal storage in two colors Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue starting at €349.
