New Apple TV with redesigned Siri remote:

As a part of this event, Apple unveiled the new generation of Apple TV 4K, which comes now with the Bionic A12 chip that provides a significant boost in graphics performance, video decoding, and audio processing.

With the A12 Bionic chip, Apple TV 4K now supports high frame rate (High Dynamic Range) and Dolby Vision video, enabling fast action at 60 frames per second (fps) for smoother gameplay and a more lifelike look than ever before, and with support for high frame rate in AirPlay, videos captured on iPhone 12 Pro can be viewed at Dolby Vision at 60 frames per second on the new Apple TV 4K.

The new Apple TV 4K enhances the picture quality of your TV with a color balance process that uses the light sensor in the iPhone to compare the color balance to industry standard specifications. Using this data, Apple TV automatically customizes its video output to provide more accurate colors and enhanced contrast without you having to adjust your TV settings, and all you have to do is to enter the color balance option from the Apple TV settings and place the iPhone screen near the screen. Television, and wait a while until the balancing process is successful.

This Apple TV 4K comes with a completely redesigned Siri Remote made of aluminum, and fits more comfortably in the user's hand.

It features a ClickPad controller that provides five-point navigation for better accuracy, and is also touch-enabled for quick directional swipes. The outer ring of the ClickPad supports an intuitive circular gesture that turns it into a quick control to find a scene in a movie or show.

The new Siri Remote also has a power button that controls the TV's power and another to mute the volume, and the Siri button has been now moved to the remote's side, so that you can easily search for specific shows or movies, control smart home accessories, check sports or weather scores, and more.

Both the new Apple TV and Siri Remote start at $179 in two storage capacities options: 32 GB or 64 GB; and they can be ordered on April 30th. The new Siri Remote will be available also separately for $59, and it is compatible with the previous-generation Apple TV 4K as well as with the Apple TV HD.

iPad Pro with M1 chip, 5G and a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display:

With the powerful M1 chip, Apple is pushing the limits of the computer market to a new level for of what’s possible on a PC, and now the company takes a step further, and brings this chip to the iPad Pro, in addition to 5G support, and the Liquid Retina XDR display, making it the most powerful Tablet device ever. Thanks to the new M1 chip, iPad Pro has now 50 percent faster CPU performance than A12Z Bionic, and up to 40 percent faster GPU performance.

The new iPad Pro comes in two sizes: 11 inches with a Liquid Retina display or 12.9 with a Liquid Retina XDR display in Silver or Space Gray colors, and features, up to 16 GB of RAM, and from 128 GB to 2 TB of internal storage. It supports 5G network connections allowing iPad Pro to reach speeds up to 4Gbps, and offers a new Thunderbolt and USB 4 support enabling users to connect to the internet via Ethernet, or plugging a higher resolution external display.

The new Liquid Retina XDR display delivers the same performance as the Pro Display XDR on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Designed with a new advanced micro-LED design that uses more than 10000 LEDs across the back of the entire screen, the Liquid Retina XDR display features 1000 nits of full-screen brightness, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and a 1 million-to-1 contrast ratio, which is meant to provide users with accurate details that reflect what they can see in the real world.

The new Liquid Retina XDR display includes some other technologies that can also be found in the 11-inch iPad Pro, including ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide color support.

The TrueDepth camera system on iPad Pro features a new 12MP Ultra-Wide front camera, enabling the Center Stage experience, a new video calling experience. Center Stage uses the much larger field of view on the new front camera and the machine learning capabilities of M1 to recognize and keep users centered in frame. As users move around, Center Stage automatically moves to keep them in the snapshot, and when others join, the camera detects them as well, smoothly zooming out to fit everyone in view and making sure they're part of the conversation.

The new iPad Pro will be available to order on April 30th, starting at $799.
